Analytics
The website uses Plausible Self-Hosted for statistics.
Plausible works by the inclusion of a block of JavaScript code on pages of the website. When users view a page, this JavaScript code references a JavaScript file which then executes the tracking operation for Analytics. The tracking operation retrieves data about the page request through various means and sends this information to the Analytics server via a list of parameters attached to a single-pixel image request.
Plausible Analytics is a GDPR, CCPA and cookie law compliant site analytics tool that collects standard internet log information and visitor behaviour information in an anonymous form.

Comments
The website uses Isso Self-Hosted for comments.
Isso is a commenting server similar to Disqus. It allows anonymous comments, optionally users can add their email and website. The email is used to generate a hash which is used to identify the user. The email is not forwarded to any third party.
