About Harald Nezbeda.

Hi, my name is Harald. I am a Senior Python Developer and Technical Leader at Anexia, based in Austria.

My work is centered around Python, Django, APIs, DevOps, and practical AI systems. I build tools that make development workflows easier, with a recent focus on local and self-hosted AI workflows, data sovereignty, speech and video summarization, and safer ways to use AI coding agents.

I write technical articles on this blog, maintain open source projects, and occasionally give talks at Python, Linux, DevOps, and AI events. Some recent topics can be found on the Elsewhere page.

I also teach and support courses on data and AI management, introduction to AI, Git, Docker, AI use cases, and applied machine learning.

Current Focus

  • VibePod - running AI coding agents in isolated local containers.
  • VoiceVault - private speech, transcription, and summarization workflows. It continues the work started in Speech Condenser.
  • Django REST Framework, OpenAPI, and generated client libraries.
  • Local-first AI infrastructure, DevOps, and developer tooling.
